A Good Cop Doesn't Care About Christian Debt Relief...
... from the faith standpoint. He just cares about the results. You follow?
After all, what is the point of a company that sounds good if it doesn't produce?
Why would you sign up for help from a Christian debt relief service, anyway? Just because it sounds appealing?
That's the real question here. When you go looking for debt relief, you need to ask yourself what your priorities are. As a hardened veteran of a detective agency, I have seen enough in my day to say away from religious affiliations of all kinds. It does not mean these companies do not mean well, or that they will not save you money. Some of their debt relief programs will invariably do the trick for countless consumers out there. All I am saying is that you have to put your financial interests first, and know what you are signing up for. Otherwise, you could end up in a world of trouble.
Know your Christian debt relief company from Adam.
Seriously. You don't want to get involved in this otherwise. If you are a Christian or a person of any particular faith, we encourage you to adhere to your beliefs at all times. However, do not let them cloud your perception of financial institutions. There are plenty of Christian debt relief and Jewish debt relief companies alike that are flat out incompetent. Hey, I just call it like I see it out here in the field. Not to sing my own praises, but I like to think with almost three decades on the beat, and having seen a lot of s--t that would freak you the f--k out, I can ascertain a few things about a company. Care to try me?
I once was called in to investigate a Christian debt relief agency that claimed to offer both spiritual and financial advice to good Christians. Naturally they did good business in certain parts of the country. But in reality, they were all talk. It was just a marketing hook. In the end they offered the same generic debt relief program as any other company out there, and there was nothing really spiritual about the way they conducted business. They were cash and carry in a big way.
Now granted, this is worst case scenario. For every place like this there are probably 2-3 other Christian debt relief joints that do a heck of a nice job and live up to their billing. I am just saying that you gotta get the story straight from the horse's mouth before you commit to anything. Go with a non-profit debt relief company if you can, regardless of whether they trumpet their religious convictions. You gotta look out for one person and one thing alone, and that is you, my friend. That is my advice to you.
