	<description>
... and that's getting to the bottom of the debt settlement companies
Oh yes. We're real detectives here, and letting nothing derail our search... for the truth. As credit sleuths, we are rooting around and looking for dirt on every debt settlement company that tries to pass itself off as legit. That means the standard operating procedure - tapping phones, stakeouts through the night, digging through their trash - anything we can do to get the information we need. You know, debt settlement companies don't give you a break just because they say they will. So we don't give ANYONE the benefit of the doubt.

When it comes to debt settlement, companies know best
At least they want you to think so. But debt settlement companies have to prove it to us. They have to go above and beyond the call of duty to show our Detective agency (indirectly, of course, since they don't know they are being spied on) that they are serious about debt settlement and not, say, raking consumers over hot coals. Or embezzling their money. Or simply providing shady services that would be better described as con jobs. You can't trust anyone these days, but you can know what to look for in a reputable agency...

A plan that allows you to save up, then pay off all debts cumulatively in one year.
Guidance to help you practice the responsible money management you will need to achieve this.
Personal, one-on-one attention to your situation.
The promise of a debt free life.

These are the types of things you can look forward to from reliable debt settlement companies, but beware. Not everything is what it seems. Sometimes b!tches will promise these things to lure you in. Then they will turn around and distribute on you.

You know where we are going with this. Charging fees, not returning calls. Packing up their office and leaving the state. These are not things you want from debt settlement companies. Hopefully, thanks to our efforts, you won't have to worry.

Stay tuned. In the meantime, check out other pages on our site by using the many links provided. Pop us a quick question using the Contact Us form, too, if you have one.
